Katie joined Walters Meadows Richardson, PLLC as a civil litigation attorney in 2018. Katie attended Centre College for her undergraduate degree. She then spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer working for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) which serves to represent abused and neglected children in the court system. After attending law school at the University of Kentucky she clerked for Chief Regional Circuit Judge Thomas Clark in Lexington before becoming an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Lexington, Kentucky. She spent over five years at the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Katie enjoys spending time with her friends and hiking with her dog, Macho. She also has a passion for children and serves on the board for PCAK (Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky).
